Very Comfortable

Fantastic stay at Middle House
We received the warmest of welcomes from the Middle House team. Lovely,spacious room with an amazing view of the Yorkshire Dales .Evening meal was delicious and breakfast the best ever.Highly recommended.Brian and Ruth,Aberdeenshire

Excellent
Staff were welcoming, efficient, flexible in meeting our needs.Food was excellent, served with skill, well presented (though all the separate little pots could make managing it on the plate tricky!). Room 12 was a good size with comfortable beds and plenty of storage for clothing. Two small chairs instead of the bucket chair would have been preferable. More hooks for towels and rainproofs would have been useful.Room 5 was small with limited storage space but again comfortable. Hooks would have been useful. Bar and dining rooms were pleasant, could be very noisy and definitely need cushions (for the vertically challenged!). As a group of walkers we would recommend Middle House highly.

Lovely weekend
Once again a lovely stay; very comfortable bed; excellent food(both evening meal+breakfast) + lovely relaxed pub atmosphere. Wishing the new owners every success+happiness here+ looking forward to many Dales weekends at the Middle House.

Changes and cancellations to bookings made up to 7 days prior to arrival are without charge.
Bookings cancelled within the7 days before arrival will be charged a non-refundable cancellation fee of The total cost of the booking.

Terms & Conditions

1.Check-in
Check in is from 4.00pm to 8pm.
If you expect to arrive later than 8.00pm, do let us know so that we can assist you. If you are delayed on your travels, please call to advise us of your time of arrival.

2.Check-out
Rooms must be vacated by 11:00am on the day of departure. Early check in and late check out can be arranged, subject to availability and fees.

3.Smoking
In accordance law, smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hotel. This also includes vaping. A penalty fee of £100 will be charged for deep cleaning if guests have been found to smoke in bedrooms.

4.Pets
We do welcome well behaved dogs into the hotel and have designated pet friendly rooms. Please notify us if you are bringing a dog so we can allocate a room accordingly. A one of charge of £20 will be added to your reservation. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant.

5.Lift
We do not have a lift in the hotel and our all rooms are located on either the first or second floor. Access to bedrooms is via our main staircase.

6.We require debit or credit card details to secure your booking - your card will be verified by a charge of £1.00. The balance of your stay will be taken on the day of check in. If you cancel 7 days before the date of your stay there will be no further charge. If you cancel within 7 days of your stay we will charge the full amount.
Any deposits paid are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.

8.Should guests wish to curtail their stay, they will still be liable to pay the full amount for all the nights originally booked.

9.No persons in excess of the number agreed at the time of booking are to occupy the room or cottage.

10.We reserve the right to terminate the visit of any person whose conduct we consider detrimental to the comfort of others.

11.The Middle House will not be liable for failure to comply with any terms and conditions of this agreement to the extent such compliance is prevented, hindered or delayed by any cause beyond its control including but not limited to fire, storm, explosion, flood, act of God, action or advise of any Government or Government Agency, shortage of goods, strike or lock-out, failure of supply of electricity, water or gas, gas leakage or water leakage.

12.Please take care with our facilities. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. Whilst we do not normally charge for minor damage, we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. Failure to report damages to us may result in delays in repairs and inconvenience for subsequent guests. We reserve the right to charge an additional £100 for such incidents if unreported. If additional cleaning is required we also reserve the right to charge £100.

13.No liability shall be accepted by us for any loss or theft of, or damage to, the personal property of guests whether in the buildings or grounds of the White Rose Hotel or any vehicle. No liability shall be accepted by the owners for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside.

14.Please do inform us as soon as possible if you have any complaint regarding the accommodation or if you find anything faulty which requires our attention. Due to the generally limited period of hire, it may not be possible to effect repairs during the period of hire.
